Pathway to the afterlife

I got it finished! I'm so happy

This is my entry for the contest held by The theme was of course "pathways"
I started with " A pathway through difficulties" which was  symbolized by a path through the desert, but after a while I couldn't help adding in an Egyptian theme because I love ancient Egypt! This guy here is based of Anubis, the god who guided the dead on their journey to the afterlife (but without the actual head of a jackal because just no)
This is the first time I've done an entire artwork completely digital! I'm pretty pleased with how its turned out, so I might try that more often ^^ I'll also be trying to work hard on my backgrounds!
